Description
Horizontal section through the occipital lobe of one of the cerebral hemispheres. Notice the visual cortex, marked by a thin medullary lamina (the white line of Gennari) which extends throughout it. Note also the very deep parieto-occipital sulcus on the medial aspect of the occipital lobe.
