Description:

'Ex-members of the Forces and Mercantile Marine who are receiving Pension at the rate 100% for disablements due to War Service coming within one of the following categories are eligible to be considered for the provision of a car or for an annual allowance in respect of a privately owned car :-

Category A

Double leg amputation with one or both above knee.

Category B

Paraplegia causing total or almost total loss of use of both legs.

Category C

Other severe disablement directly affecting the legs to such an extent as to cause total or almost total loss of the use of the legs.' (15)
