Objectivity of own position, threat from Russia the chief concern of Nordic states, that Germany 'represents justice, progress, liberty'. Untrustworthiness of English promises and that 'England's introduction of coloured soldiers on European battlefields is a shame for itself' and will lead to loss of respect in e.g. India. English opportunism re: declaration of war and need for scientists to maintain connections regardless of political differences.
