Description
Transverse section through the medulla, fourth ventricle (IV) and the cerebellum. The inferior vermis of the cerebellum (V) has been cut along much of its length. On either side, the dentate nucleus (D) stands out very conspicuously in the white matter of the cerebellar hemisphere. In the medulla, note the upper end of the cuneate nucleus (NC), the olivary nucleus (Ol), and the pyramid (P).
