Description:
‘...
Usher’s bitch (the matron who has already had pups) is certainly pregnant & getting quite big. She is horribly jealous of the other (maiden) one & we have to have carefully [laid] plans for keeping them apart or there wd. soon be only 1 alive.
The maiden is also we think in pup, but she is a week behind the other, & wd. also be a primipara, so her belly does not show so unmist[ak]ably at present; but I think there is not much doubt.
I find the breeders these days almost always give away the albinos, or at best get only what counts as small prices;- this re: getting people to undertake albino-breeding.
...
By the way, I will take means to preserve eyes & brain of any of these albinos’ pups that die. The maiden bitch is a small little thing & one wd. not be surprised if things went wrong with her.
