Description:
‘...
Now to the all important point – the deaf mute – I have three or four deaf-mute albinos & I feel certain that this albinism of the perilymph chamber is all important – it brings the deaf albinotic cats & dogs into line. I think these albino dogs we have are far less acute in hearing than normal dogs. You see B.H. has found 2 or 3 albinotic fundi[?] already in the Deaf School. Can you get him to run through a random sample of 20 or 30 of these children? I think he will strike oil if he does....
...
Wee Tong is better, but the Vet. says now that she has come inside, it won’t do to let her go out again. This is very sad, as I don’t know whether we can manage three dogs indoors.
Yours v. sincerely Karl Pearson.’
