Sent from Karl Pearson
26 Sep 1909
Description:
‘...
Usually we have to carry Tong some distance from the house & then she follows. Unless we meet a motor or a horse, when she bolts wildly home. Today we took the two pups and she came most gaily, dancing along with them & thoroughly enjoying the fun. Tong’s eyes are blue white irides, red, but never a sign of black. It seems to me that the red reflex in the puppies’ eyes is becoming less. They are much bluer than Tong’s & no white; the pupils looked almost black today. They are the most merry affectionate things going.
Yours very sincerely,
Karl Pearson.
They are wearied now, and feeding quite well.’
