Description:
‘Dear Pearson,
I hope to get the following matings:
1. Pompek x Pom (2 couples)
2. Pompek x Pompek
3. Pompek x Pompek (Sheila no. 281) x Dondo
4. Pompek-pom x Pom. (2 couples)
5. Pek-Pompek x Pek-Pompek
6. White ♀ Pom. x ♂ Dondo.
The only Poms that I have at present are two white bitches. I shall try and get a black Pom. dog from same stock as Olga & Dido.
Yes, a Pompek has been crossed with a pom., but it will be a long time before the pups are ready to be crossed by a Pom.
I am sorry that there is no Pom. bitch for Donnach. You no doubt wish a black one. My second white Pom. ♀ was to mate either a Dondo or a Pompek-pom.
As regards exhibiting the skeletons I have no feeling in the matter.
Have you a living piebald for I have one and I do not think that there has, so far, been a mating.
Stoats. I shall keep the notes here until you know when they will be required. Did you know that white stoats in this country are marketable. In some places the underkeepers are allowed to have the stoats as prerequisites, but they get about 1/3d for each.
Yours sincerely,
C.H. Usher.’
