Description:
‘Dear Pearson,
Pekinese dogs.
Ian ban (alb. pekinese) x Olga (pure black pomeranian) had 2 pups last week, fortunately one is ♀. Both are black (not seen by me). The first family consisted of 2 black ♂ which are about 7 months old.
To-day I saw a typical case of albinism of eye[,] blue iris; red P; pale fund.; mixed astig; in a ♂ of 18, with quite dark hair. I think there is a suspicion of red in it, but others don’t admit that there is any red. Don’t you think this would be an interesting one to examine for granular or diffuse pigmentation. I have kept a specimen. So please say if you wish it forwarded.
Yrs sincerely,
C.H. Usher.’
