‘Dear Pearson,
1. Hairs of chocolate pup enclosed.
2. Dido & Donald bau’s litter born 10 April, 1913.
I. ♂. Ob. 15 April, 1913.
Coat black, no white hairs anywhere. Feet and chest absolutely devoid of white hair. The coat is smooth. Tail straight, mucous membrane of nose black.
Length from crown of head to tip of tail is 7 7/8”
Measurements of head:
Head length = 1.72”
Head breadth = 1.2”
Nasal length = .5”
Jaw breadth = .95”
II. ♂, ob. 15 April, 1913.
Coat smooth & black. No white on any of the feet. A white elongated area on chest 1” in length, which extends nearly to Hippoid[?] cartilage and becomes broader about half way from each end where it sends a short process towards each axilla, so that an imperfect diamond or cross is formed.
Length from crown of head to tip of tail is 7 1/8”.
Head length = 1.58”
Head breadth = 1.16”
Nasal length = .46”
Jaw breadth = .8”
III. ♀ living and examined on 16th April, 1913.
Eyes still closed.
Coat black & smooth; white patch on chest some white hairs on the 2 middle toes of all feet except the right hind foot.
3. Cyclops. There is no one in Aberdeen who could set up the skeleton. In the meantime the bones are being macerated. Thus requires some months I understand.

‘”Wai,” ♂, pekingese, coat of fairly uniform cream colour, hair smooth; moderately well defined spectacle mark; forlegs “knock-kneed” [diagram of knees]; mucous mebrane of nose pink; ears dropped; tailed [sic] carried curled over back; iris bluel red reflex seen in pupils.
Head measurements:
Head length = 4.61”
Head breadth = 3.7”
Nasal length = 1.3”
Jaw breadth = 2.3”
