Sent from Charles Howard Usher
28 Apr 1915
Description:
‘Dear Pearson,
Plate [illeg.]. Thank you the note seems to me quite satisfactory, except “& it’s age” wh. I think should be kept out, because Musk on Feb. 22, 1915 was not so white as she was in Jan. & Feb. 1912, the year she was caught.
Dogs, I have no doubt the mandibles will be amongst the other bones. There is still a good deal of ‘meat’ on the bones which must be got rid of before sending the skeletons for articulation, I shall try & get someone from the anatomy department to come & clean them.
Yrs sincerely,
C.H. Usher.’
