Sent from Charles Howard Usher
17 Aug 1915
Description:
‘Dear Pearson,
Your Cornaz spaniel’s eyes – I do not find any difference as regards pigmentation between their eyes and those of the Dondos – a description of one of these Cornaz spaniels eyes wd. quite well serve for the other three in as far as pigment is concerned. I shall send you a section of one and a section of the dark pup’s eye for comparison. The contrast is great.
Garthowzie[?] had 2 more pups. They died & were not sent in. I was away at the time. They were the usual Dondos. Schedules enclosed.
Yrs. sincerely,
C.H. Usher.’
[analysis of eyes of 5 pups enclosed]
