Sent from Charles Howard Usher
15 May 1916
Description:
‘Dear Pearson,
I was in the country last week and saw a number of the dogs. Bertha is in fine condition & thoroughly enjoying herself. She is evidently a universal favourite.
The pup of Nellie (white pom) x alb. Pek. has as marked a chocolate coat as Bertha. I shall measure her later. Thank you for additional schedules.
Have you seen Gamble’s article on albinism in man in Annals of Ophthalmology October, 1915. You will remember he wrote from Chicago asking for use of plates etc.
Yours sincerely,
C.H. Usher.’
