Sent from Charles Howard Usher
11 May 1911
Description:‘Dear Pearson,
It is unlikely that my few remaining dogs will be of any use now.
Eiligina (338) whom you have seen is still here.
Drum[?] Lady (343) is the dam of D[?]eochry whose skeleton is now being prepared. She was born in April, 1917. I think she might be destroyed & sent to Gerrard for skeleton preparation.
A “Pom” bitch with a pedigree & 2 of her puppies (sire D[?]eochry (367)[)] completes the number of dogs that I have, & should not accept this “Pom” bitch as genuine, as I indicated in a former letter, so she & her puppies I propose to destroy.
I saw Parsons for a few minutes in Glasgow ten days ago at a meeting of the Ophthalmological Society. My time there unfortunately was very limited. It would have been pleasant to have seen more of old acquaintances.
Yours sincerely,
C.H. Usher.
