Sent from Warren Fletcher
22 Jul 1922
Description:
‘Medical Research Council,
15 York Buildings
Adelphi, London, W.C.2.
Dear Professor Pearson,
In answer to your letter of July 20th, I can reassure you at once by telling you that Dr. Bell’s grant has already been renewed for the current financial year till April next, and I have no doubt at all that the Council, on your recommendation, will again renew it, if you are satisfied with her work and opportunities.
Believe me,
Yours sincerely,
Warren Fletcher.
[note in Pearson’s hand:]
This is so far satisfactory, and keeps us safe for 18 months, if it does not as I could wish better the situation. K.P.
Please ask Nichols to let me know sex of Jet’s puppies, if either or both die & to send over if dead to Jessop, for skins. I trust they will both live.’
