Description:
‘My dear Wife,
This will show you that I have safely reached U.C. after a very uneventful journey. On arrival here I found a dead semi-albino Dingo waiting for me. It had come on Saturday night & wanted seeing to at once. It is a male dog & the bitch with whom it lived had bitten it through the throat! I don’t think we will keep Dingos.’
