Sent from Maria Sharpe Pearson
7 Apr 1919
Description:
‘Dearest Karl,
Helga brought back the puppy basket from College today... She also saw Miss Jones who seemed able to take the puppies to the station on Thursday, when told the train, which we should also want to know to take them down at the right time to [?] with [?] a card to her (Miss J.) to say of we can know in time we will bring them to U.C., otherwise will leave them here ready for her, as she will [sic] not hear till Thursday morning. I know Miss [ileg.] was always slow in writing.
Poor little dears, they are getting most engaging a delight to watch playing in their cage, but also most smelly & it would be great relief if they were gone.’
