Description:‘Lactol biscuits have been specially prepared for puppies which have been successfully reared on Lactol, in order that a change to the solid diet will not put them back in health and condition, as so frequently happens at present. They contain a large proportion of Lactol together with cereal and other ingredients of guaranteed purity and of suitable quality for human consumption. They do not contain any meat. There are also many adult dogs of the smaller breed which will not eat or cannot masticate or digest the ordinary dog biscuits, and for these cases Lactol biscuits will be found particularly useful. Lactol biscuits are also strongly recommended, to be given to dogs recovering from any weakening disease such as distemper, owing to the high degree of nourishment they contain. These biscuits are the result of experiments extending over the past three or four years, and we consider that they will be ideal for the purposes mentioned above.’
