The booklet, as its title conveys, deals with the proper methods of feeding and keeping dogs, and advises dog fanciers generally on what is, and what is not, good for their canine companions, so that the latter may be ensured good health.
The author deals with the importance of water in a dog's diet, the methods of preparing food, the quantity of food necessary for the various breeds of dogs, the number of meals per day, the value of green vegetables, bones, and regular feeding.
