Sent from Henry J.R. Pope
2 Oct 1911
Description:
‘Dear Mr Pearson,
If the hernia is umbilical leave it alone, numbers of puppies have this condition & unless it enlarges, it should be left alone, watch it.
Exema [sic] of course can be cured & is never a skin disease, but an expansion in the skin of the conditions of the blood, natheless [sic], in a puppy exema is often troublesome to eradicate & is generally the outcome of an injudicious diet.
In the meantime I don’t know of a home for him, but will enquire.
Yours truly,
Henry J.R. Pope.’
